The CCFL requires dynamic and innovative professionals with a proven track record of excellence who can support student progression in learning, behaviour and self-esteem.
The Senior BSLA role involves supporting the BLSA team; leading in key areas of pastoral development; line managing and supervising at least one BLSA team member; taking a lead on supporting the well-being of all students in the school as well as direct work with students both in and out of the classroom.
The CCfL is an integrated Special School and Pupil Referral Unit catering for up to 100 secondary aged students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and operates from two sites, one focusing on KS3 and one on KS4.
All aspects of the provision have been judged to be good by Ofsted at both the KS3 and KS4 Schools. Ofsted Commented that:
Staff give the highest priority to meeting pupils’ academic, social and emotional needs. They ensure that pupils make strong progress in English, mathematics and science. (KS4: Nov 17)
Staff develop very positive and trusting relationships with pupils based on mutual respect and understanding. ( KS3: Feb 2018)
For an informal discussion please contact the school on KS3 020 7974 3953 or KS4 020 7974 8906.
