Caretaker Scale 4 (7-10)
(Actual salary range: £25,315 to £26,707)
37.5 hours per week, all year round. Split shift: 07.30 to 11am & 2.30 to 6pm Monday to Friday during term time (The split shift doesn’t have to apply during the school holidays)
Plus one Saturday and one Sunday per annum for school events with the possibility of occasional over time.

Our one form entry school has a friendly and committed staff and supportive parents, which creates a lively and rewarding place to work. We are looking for a Caretaker to be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school and to maintain the premises (both internally and externally) in a clean, safe, sound and secure condition. The Caretaker would also be the Health & Safety responsible officer.
You will have an eye for noticing what needs to be done and the ability to use your initiative to get things done in a timely manner. You will undertake appropriate repairs and maintenance jobs including organising and carrying out minor improvement works/projects.
