The council lacks the resources to consult over tree projects

31 October, 2019

• I THOUGHT your readers might wish to be informed that Camden Council now lacks the resources to consult local residents about tree planting programmes.

In correspondence with the council, an officer wrote: “We do not have the resources to carry out a resident consultation, or formally inform all the residents in the road, or affected by the new trees. However, we will be happy to discuss with the resident if any issue arise.”

I thought that the information might be of use to some residents and provide them with the opportunity to contact members and or officers when they observe such activity in progress in their streets.
