A 14-year-old boy was found suffering with stab wounds over the weekend.
Police and paramedics were called at about 8:15pm on Saturday May 23 to reports of a stabbing in Hullbridge Mews, close to Essex Road station and just off Rosemary Gardens.
A teenager was found “suffering stab injuries” and he was taken to hospital where his injuries initially deemed as critical, but later this was changed to non life-threatening.
A section 60 order was out in place by the police covering parts of Islington, Camden and Hackney.
This order give police enhanced powers to stop and search people by removing any need for uniformed officers to have “reasonable grounds” to conduct the search.
There have been no arrests and the police continue to appeal for witnesses .
