Teenage boy killed in collision with motorbike in Queen’s Crescent

Police say 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene

Police said the victim had been riding a bike in Malden Road

A TEENAGE cyclist has been killed in a collision with a motorbike in Queen’s Crescent this afternoon (Saturday).

The collision is thought to have happened near the pedestrian crossing at the junction of Malden Road and Queen’s Crescent at around 2:40pm. Police said the victim is believed to be a teenage boy who was riding a bike on Malden Road.

Detectives at the scene have launched an investigation, but are yet to make any arrests.

A Met spokesman said: “The cyclist – a male believed to be a teenager – suffered injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are aware. At this stage there no arrests.”
