The unicorns charged with bringing you your medication are champing at the bit

22 March, 2019

• I WAS sorry to read that unwell people in Islington are having difficulty getting hold of medication, (Islington pharmacists running short of drugs blaming Brexit and manufacturers ‘hiking prices’, March 15).

I sympathise with them. However, that is no excuse for pharmacists, whom I used to think level-headed, supporting Project Fear’s claim that Brexit has caused the problem. Clearly, the problem has been caused by manufactures’ price hikes.

Anyone with any knowledge of economics knows that the price of any article is determined by its seller’s whim rather than by its scarcity or abundance. To believe otherwise is a vulgar error on a par with believing that the earth is round.

Anyway, take heart, unwell people of Islington, the unicorns charged with bringing you your medication are champing at the bit and await only our liberation from the hated EUSSR to be on their way to you.
