VIVIANNE Miedema stole the show on Sunday by scoring four goals as Arsenal put in a five-star performance against Juventus at Meadow Park.

The Netherlands international struck twice either side of half-time while Kim Little was also on target as the Gunners hit five past the Italian champions. Manager Joe Montemurro was delighted with his star striker’s performance.

“Viv is a special player,” he said. “She’s a special thinker and a special asset to any team. She’s not just a number 9, she’s also good in the build-up and has the ability to identify space, control the match and bring others into the game.

“She’s got all the attributes to be, for me, one of the best players in the world.”
