NORTH London Cats Protection is desperately trying to re-home a chubby moggy named Ruby, who has been living at the adoption centre for 230 days.

Staff at the Junction Road centre say loveable Ruby has confidence issues after her troubled past, and is often overlooked in favour of more confident cats.

“Ruby has truly stolen the hearts of everyone here at the centre and now we want her to steal the heart of her future humans too,” they added.

“Because of her specific needs, we want to find her an understanding owner who has previous experience with cats of varying personalities.

“She’s also looking for a quiet household, with no children or other pets, she needs to be on her own so she can settle at her own time and pace.”

Anyone interested can call 020 7272 6048 or visit the centre’s website.
