Police hunt driver who left cyclist with life-threatening injuries

A cyclist is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run crash in Camden Town.
The 47-year-old man was hit by a car at the junction of Camden Road and Royal College Street at around 11:30pm on Wednesday, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
Police were called to the scene and discovered that the driver of the car had failed to stop.
A car, believed to have been involved in the crash, was found abandoned nearby in Kings Terrace, off Plender Street.
The cyclist was taken to Royal London Hospital, where he remains in a “critical condition”.
Police are trying to trace the driver and appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
