Camden Youth have a nine-point lead over their closest rivals at the top of the table

PLAYERS from Camden Youth continued their perfect start to the season on Saturday when they beat Hampstead in the Under-12s West Division of the Capital Girls League.

Sharp-shooter Ava McLean was in scintillating form as she scored a hat-trick, while Sienna Noel was also on target in an entertaining 4-1 victory.

Player-of-the-match Olivia Gilbert

The player-of-the-match accolade, however, was saved for winger Olivia Gilbert, who showed her versatility by putting in a commanding display in the centre of the pitch.

The result means that Camden Youth have now won nine league games out of nine so far this season, a feat that has seen them open up a nine-point lead over their closest rivals at the top of the table.

They have also booked a place in the final of the Under-12s Capital Girls League Cup, where they will face a strong Watford Academy side in March.
