NatWest axes branches in Hampstead and Belsize Park

30 March, 2017 — By Geoffrey Sawyer

NATWEST is to axe branches in Hampstead and Belsize Park after reporting that there had been a “dramatic shift” to people using online banking instead of over-the-counter services. The bank is also cutting its branch in Euston Road, King’s Cross, in a plan that will be implemented over six months. A NatWest spokesman said: “As customers change the way they bank with us, we must change the way we serve them.”
