My thanks for the care I received with the NHS
31 October, 2019
• I WOULD like to offer my public thanks to my GP at James Wigg practice in Kentish Town, the medical team and all the staff who looked after me so well at University College Hospital following emergency surgery.
Despite the obvious stresses on the National Health Service, all the staff were superbly professional, working with great humour and kindness, while having to deal with patients suffering a complexity of problems, clinical, mental and with dementia.
The NHS needs all our support, and as a general election looms, we must not let the Brexit debacle occlude vital issues including the future of our health service.
