I’ve had weeks of wonderful care at UCLH and the Macmillan Cancer Centre

11 January, 2018

• I HAVE recently received treatment for cancer at UCLH and the Macmillan Cancer Centre.

The experience was six weeks of wonderful care and will remain a very happy memory both for myself and my children who accompanied me. The doctors and nurses communicated clearly what my treatment was to be and guided us with great kindness through the various stages.

When I was told that I was in the clear I was sad to say goodbye to these new friends of ours, but cheered up when I learnt that I needed to continue to attend check-ups.

I was referred to UCLH by my doctor in The Kentish Town Health Centre where I also have received wonderful care for many years.
