Primrose Hill is soaked by the rain
A PUB landlord was among the “swimmers” in the pool which formed on Primrose Hill.
Fraser Newman, who runs the Queen’s pub in Regent’s Park Road, was one of several hardy souls to take advantage of the sudden downpour on Monday.

He told the New Journal: “I was out walking my two-month-old puppy when I came across the swimming pool. I had been keen to take my pup, Louis, to the dog ponds in Hampstead but haven’t got around to it yet.”
Probably the first and maybe the only time you will see people swimming on Primrose Hill
He added: “The puddle in Primrose Hill looked like it had a good depth I’ll admit I was a bit jealous of my pup paddling around in it and I thought I’d throw on some trunks and join him – haha! I haven’t been on holiday in a while and I like a good swim.”
