Have they stopped recycling?

09 August, 2019

‘Is the council no longer recycling?’

• I LIVE in a block of flats in Mount Pleasant. We used to have three recycling bins in front of our block. Camden added large housing cases which people tended to overfill.

This week I noticed the bins had been removed and people continued to chuck their rubbish inside the open spaces and surrounding areas.

I phoned the council and have yet to have a convincing explanation. I regularly take my recycling rubbish to allocated bins.

I now find I have no bins within walking distance. The recycling bins at the end of Lambs Conduit Street have disappeared as have the bins off Gray’s Inn Road. Is the council no longer recycling?
