Ed Sheeran to play intimate gig at the London Irish Centre

Supporters of Christmas appeal get chance to win tickets

28 November, 2017 — By Geoffrey Sawyer

ED Sheeran – the multi-award winning musician – is to swap stadiums and arenas for the intimate ballroom of the London Irish Centre.

The Shape Of You singer, who broke chart records with his album Divide earlier this year, will play a fund-raiser at the venue in Camden Square, Camden Town, on June 18. Dermot O’Leary, the X-Factor host, will be host the evening.

People who donate a minimum of £10 to the centre’s Christmas Appeal will go into a draw to win a pair of tickets.

Sean Kennedy, the chief executive of the London Irish Centre charity, said: “We are hugely excited to be announcing this very special event to kick off our annual Christmas Appeal. We are deeply grateful to our patron Dermot O’Leary and our newest supporter, global superstar, Ed Sheeran for supporting our charity’s work with the Irish in London.”
