Officers found a stash on the Curnock Street Estate
POLICE trying to stop drug dealers using a Camden Town estate as their base have found a stash of crack cocaine and heroin.
They have confiscated around 100 wraps of the Class-A drugs in the past two days on the Curnock Street Estate, off Pratt Street.
Its location near the centre of Camden Town mean that it has been used by street dealers to stash their supply.
Sgt Barry MacInnes said that they discovered 87 wraps today (Thursday) when a suspect was “disturbed white trying to hide” the drugs on the estate. It was the second find in the same spot in two days, he said, adding: “The net is closing in.”
