Brighton rocked by Gunners

ARSENAL boasted four different scorers as they recorded their biggest Women’s Super League win so far on Sunday.

Kim Little opened the scoring inside 10 minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion, latching on to Vivianne Miedema’s through-ball and slotting past goalkeeper Megan Walsh.

Netherlands striker Miedema, who was the WSL’s top scorer last term, doubled Arsenal’s lead at Meadow Park with her first goal of this year’s league campaign.

Miedema then got her second assist of the game, rolling her marker before setting up Danielle van de Donk to score a third.

The icing was put on a convincing 4-0 win in the 70th minute when Jordan Nobbs scored her first goal since returning from a lengthy knee injury.

The result makes it three wins out of three for Arsenal, putting them top alongside Manchester City with the WSL’s only 100 per cent records.
