PUPILS have been urged to travel together after a 14-year-old girl was grabbed by a man in Dartmouth Park
. A notice sent to parents in the borough said the teenager was alone in Dartmouth Park Avenue when an unknown man took hold of her and attempted to pull her along the road at about 4pm on Wednesday last week. No arrests had been made.
It does not name which school the girl attended, but one of the notices sent by a Camden school said: “Pupils should aim to travel in pairs or groups, remain alert and vigilant and not use their phones while walking around.”
Camden Safer Schools team urgently sent out a message from the Met Police after the incident. There were extra patrols around the area last week for reassurance.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
