A unique school for children who need to be nurtured through their education journey

03 June, 2019

A brand new independent school in Highgate, London for up to 30 pupils is now accepting admissions for the Autumn Term 2019

Odyssey House School, a new, exciting and unique independent school located in Highgate, is due to officially open its doors in September for up to 30 pupils aged 7 to 16 years. It’s already generating a lot of interest, and requests for visits and information are received on an almost daily basis.

A recent visit by Ofsted praised the ‘bright, clean, safe’ building and the proprietor, headteacher and other leaders who bring ‘a range of expertise to the school’.

We are registered with Ofsted and offer the full national curriculum including GCSE’s:

1. Very small class sizes for a truly personalised education experience: 5-6 pupils per class

2. Highly experienced, creative, energetic and dedicated teaching team delivering outstanding education through our unique curriculum

3. Comprehensive assessments to ensure that learning is tailored to each pupil’s individual needs including psychology, speech & language, personal, social, emotional profiles as required

4. Mindfulness and personal well-being are built into the curriculum

Odyssey House School was established by a group of experienced professionals who recognise that some pupils need to be nurtured in order to unlock their individual talents and achieve their very best. The school does this by offering a warm, cohesive family community, very small classes, and bespoke education and support for each pupil – including a range of therapies if needed.

Enjoyment of school and learning are central to Odyssey House’s work. Promoting personal development and well-being are vital parts of the school’s curriculum. Staff believe that pupils being happy, communicating effectively and understanding and respecting themselves and others are essential components to achieving academic success.

One current pupil said that the teachers were the best he’d ever had, while the parents of another pupil praised the exceptional teaching and rate of their child’s learning.

Odyssey Education, the School’s parent company, is now set to develop its outreach service for children in other school settings who need extra help, or who are home-schooled. All enquiries for the school and outreach service are warmly invited.

Open Day on 14th June from 10 am to 2pm at the school. Call or email the School now to arrange a visit.
